Testimonials

"I think we have a new Sunday tradition on our hands. Get up, coffee, immediate walk to West Seattle Produce for the juiciest mango and strawberries (5lbs for $5, heck yes) I've ever tasted! And we got a great lesson from Maria on how to pick the freshest fruit around. Very friendly and helpful staff!

They are a spin off of the owners' Pike Place Market stand, and while the shop just opened and they don't have everything they will soon be offering out on the floor yet, we managed to leave with all the fruits and veggies we needed for the week, along with some papparadelle's pasta - they have several different flavors available with corresponding recipes - for $20!

We spotted coffee from Vashon Coffee Co., and Remlinger Farms jams and preserves. Flowers from Pike Place are there, too, ranging from $16-$24.

There's also a small nursery on the south side of the building and the two combined really help to bring some much needed character to the corner. Go check them out!"

I went to check this place out over the weekend since I didn't want to go over to McPhersons on Beacon Hill.  I refuse to pay $1.19 for a bunch of green onions, or $.79 for one lemon at QFC/Safeway.  Brand spankin new, it offers up very good quality produce at reasonable prices.  The folks are friendly and stroll around offering up samples.  Parking is not crazy and they have a nice nursery area with good looking plants.

It's great to have a locally owned & operated store with great quality produce at a reasonable price.  Most things are not bargain-priced, but decent organic selection and very good quality and super-friendly staff.

bonus: falafel stand in the parking lot had great food!  come to think of it, there was also live music outside!!
